Window frames open up choice for customers

As a specialist made-to-measure garage door manufacturer, we have been manufacturing doors for the trade for over 18 years. This experience has allowed us to meet with different customer and trade requirements, and our processes and products have evolved significantly over the years.

One of Select’s key objectives is to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to exterior home trends, together with providing garage doors which are functional and fit for purpose for customers.

It’s for this reason we have invested in a new bespoke window frame which will allow us to manufacture garage doors with windows in a large range of styles and sizes.

Historically, the standard 540mm window frame size used in garage doors meant that the styles of doors with windows which we were able to make were limited because of the window frame size.

“When a customer wanted windows in their garage door, we could happily make this, however, there were limitations as to which types of doors we could put the windows in. Now we can produce garage doors of all styles with windows, meaning customers have a greater choice” said Chris Gibson, Director at Select Garage Doors.

Now Select Garage Doors can be more flexible when it comes to made-to-measure garage doors with windows. You can even send us a photograph of your current windows and we will do our very best to match them. Whether it’s a side-hinged garage door, up and over garage door, canopy or retractable gear, we can work with you to create the perfect bespoke garage door.
